What this site is, what it isn't, and how it handles data.
Unofficial estimates
RadarChess publishes unofficial, independent estimates of chess ratings. Estimates are computed according to FIDE's published rating regulations (FIDE Handbook B.02) from publicly available tournament results. RadarChess is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIDE in any way. FIDE's published monthly rating lists are the authoritative record; where the numbers differ, FIDE's are the official ones.
No warranty
The estimates and everything else on this site are provided as-is, without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Coverage of played games is never perfect, event metadata can be wrong at the source, and an estimate can be off accordingly. Don't use these numbers for anything that needs the official record.
Privacy
About players: the site displays information that chess federations and tournament organizers publish about rated players: name, federation, title, birth year, ratings, and game results. RadarChess doesn't add anything beyond what is derivable from those public records.
About visitors: if you create an account, RadarChess stores your email address, the players you follow, and your display preferences, nothing else. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend, which processes your address to deliver them. You can delete your account and everything it holds yourself from the account page, at any time. Without an account, display preferences stay in your browser. The site keeps standard, short-lived server logs for security and debugging. It also runs two analytics tools, Umami and Google Analytics, to see which pages get read and where visitors come from. RadarChess looks at that data only in aggregate. As the site grows, some of this may evolve and this page will be updated, but one thing won't change: RadarChess will never sell your personal data.
