The fine print

Norms are calculated from the game record under FIDE’s title regulations, and each one links to the games behind it. A norm marked projected has not been confirmed by FIDE yet. Federations usually file certificates in the weeks after an event ends, so confirmation lags the result.

We calculate norms from completed events, including national team championships. Olympiad and other reduced-game team formats are under construction. Where our data is incomplete we show nothing rather than guess, and a projected norm can be revised if the results behind it change.
